Article COMPARISON OF ORDER AND MODERN PRINCIPLES IN THE MORPHOGENESIS
Authors E. Shirinyan, Moscow Institute of Architecture (State academy), Moscow, Russia
Abstract Tradition of architectural order manifested itself over the centuries in various forms, acquiring new meanings and images, technologies and materials; it developed in various political and social contexts. The author draws attention to the actively growing "digital" trend with a view to identify key concepts and a comparison with the order principles.

This article is based on a number of local studies in the theory of architectural order, and the latest works of Western “digital” theorists: Ben van Berkel, Bernard Cache, Kostas Terzidis, Neil Leach, Liu Yu-Tung and others.

The comparison creates the preconditions for a reconsideration of order concepts (tectonics, composition, mimesis and sample) in the context of contemporary architectural discourse and a more precise definition of the conceptual framework of digital architecture against the background of the historical material of the past.
Keywords: architectural order, tectonics, mimesis, composition, canon, digital architecture, history of architecture, morphogenesis
