| Abstract |
The article is dedicated to the problem of today using of historical garden space. The exhibition of
landscape design in the garden of villa Medici Pinciana in Rome is described as a positive
example. The historical garden became the object of attention for the painters, designers,
architects, musicians, scientists from the different countries of the world. Original, sharpminded
projects – investigations and installations returned full life to the garden, with the means of modern
technologies, created «additional reality» and renovated the historical garden into the interactive
up-to-date space and inspired the development of the creativity. Besides, this method of design of
the environment differed the spheres and subjects of the art of gardening and the landscape
design, insisting on the continuity of the following in character and methods.
