Article FEATURES CALCULATING THE DISTANCE FROM RESIDENTIAL TO SPORTS AND RECREATION VENUES

Abstract The article deals with the location of athletic and sports and recreational facilities in a residential environment. Existing city-planning regulations impose restrictions on the distance from 10 to 40 meters, although modern foreign practice shows that these distances can be much lower. Technology manufacturing modern double-glazed windows provide much more acoustic than window design parameters which were taken in the calculations for the current norms. The article analyzes the impact of noise on distance from residential buildings to sports grounds and on the basis of calculations proved that this distance can be reduced.
