Article	REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF BIG BAKU - A NEW STAGE IN BAKU URBAN PLANNING DEVELOPMENT?

Abstract	One of the most actual problems of modern town-planning of Azerbaijan – the perspective devolopment of capital city Baku - is considered in the article. Today Baku in conditions of favorable investment climate goes through new birth as the biggest economical and cultural center in Transcaucasia. However impetuous unregulated development of the city causes many problems. Rapid speeds of economical and unregulated territorial development, population growth determined the necessity of creation of new regional development plan of Big Baku. The general issues of new regional development plan of Big Baku is analyzed by the author.
