Article SOLAR ENERGY IN THE RECONSTRUCTION OF URBAN ENVIRONMENT OF HISTORIC BUILDING SAINT-PETERSBURG

Abstract Saint-Petersburg has a unique dwelling housing of the historical center. A great attention is drawn to the increase of its energy efficiency. One of directions is utilizing the solar energy for additional energy supply of the buildings. The energy efficient modernization of the historical and cultural buildings based on the solar energy is analyzed in the paper. The paper is dedicated to the problems of architectural adaptation, harmonious inclusion of the solar energy technologies into the historical environment of Saint-Petersburg and efficient utilization of the solar energy systems in the super-high dense city housing of Saint-Petersburg and in the climatic conditions of the North-West region of Russia.
