| Abstract |
Modeling during the performance of scientific reconstruction of the lost or reconstructed monuments of Russian architecture becomes up-to-date last years. The strict scientific technique of their performance is capable to lead gradually to creation of a new direction in a science of cultural heritage preservation. The reconstruction in mock-ups of architectural monuments is carried out with the different purposes - from the decision of historic architectural problems to practical use in restoration design. In the article we see the ten years' experience of authors on chair of History of architecture and town-planning creating both digital virtual models, and the traditional paper mock-ups executed by students as works for «History of Russian architecture» course.
